 This was difficult.  There was so much going on with the light and clouds.  I thought the painting was not going to work out.  However, I continued trusting in my ability and the subject.

 I arrived around 5:30am to paint this but the sunrise wasn't for another hour.  I'm not sure how I messed up the times. I guess I haven't painted a sunrise in awhile. So I sat there and thought about what I wanted to accomplish with this painting.  I eventually did a warm up painting from my imagination.  That usually helps the quality of the second painting.
